Up above
hidden from
your view,
A presence
you feel.
Though
no one
is near.
You're sad and confused.
With your emotions so real.
Kneeling to pray,
You say,
God help me!
I feel so alone!
God says,
No, you're not.
I'm right here.

Alone by
my own choice.
For you
can't trust
just anyone.
People lie
to deceive
on a daily basis.
So have to
stay on guard.
Take peoples word
with a grain of salt.
For you need
your heart protected.

As I sit
in an unlit room,
I think
of memories
that cant be undone.
For the struggle
is hard to overcome.
I know
my fight
will be
a victorious one.
For through
the darkness,
I will become whole.

Life problems
weigh us down,
like a brick
dropped in qicksand.
Always worrying
about everything.
From a headache
to a heartbreak.
From a
checkbooks positive
to a negatve balance.
Kneel down
and pray
to receive.
God will
take you,
from the problem
to prosperity.

Searching for
the meaning
of life trials,
with tears
a streaming.
For what's
the reason
for my heart breaking?
For so
I suppose,
lessons need
to be learned.
Mistakes need mending.
I have fallen.
Though now
I am standing.
For God lifted me up:
From heartbreak
To healing.

Many tears
has fallen,
For my past
has been filled
with darkness.
Searching for
the light,
seemed like
a forever task.
But, for when
the light appeared.
I arose
from broken dreams
to a glorious reality.
For a survivor
is now standing.
For the survivor
is me.

The weight
isn't heavy.
It's light
as a feather.
Though the tunnel
is long,
with only darkness
as my guide.
For my insecurities
try to trick
my mind.
But, I have
to look beyond
the darkness,
in order
to see
the light.
For carrying
faith through fear,
is my
only option.
