he spoke,
You prayed
that truth
is what
he told.
But, Doubt
had you wondering.
Though,
You still hoped.
Then reality
set in,
For his lies
came to the surface.
For his
true colors
seeped through.
Though,
God says,
Dear child,
For don't
feel fooled.
For you
needed to
think that
he really cared.
For his
Lies of deceit
Took your
heart hostage.
Now with
lesson learned.
My child.
Never believe
a person's words,
When it
sounds too perfect.
