For you try
to hide
Your despair
Your disappointment.
For no one
can know
that you've failed.
For judgment
would be harsh.
For their understanding
wouldn't be seen.
For there's
no room for failure.
Though,
God says,
Dear child,
Don't be
so hard
on yourself.
Be patient.
For it's
human nature
to make mistakes.
For their opinions
shouldn't dictate
your self-worth.
For you're amazing.
For your disguised pain
Is a blessing
of growth.
